SYNC 3 is confirmed to come to Europe in 2016!
Launched on the New Kuga, SYNC 3 will extend across to the Mondeo, S-MAX and Galaxy models later this year. It will also be compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™. More about that here.

Today we are hearing about how Ford is becoming both an auto and a mobility company.
CEO and President, Ford Motor Company, Mark Fields has been discussing Ford’s focus on emerging opportunities, with the existing 25 mobility experiments globally (like Go Drive) and the introduction of Ford Pass – more to come on that one later!

Some big announcements coming from Mark Fields’ keynote, here our top seven highlights!
1. A big year ahead for Europe with 7 New or upgraded vehicles, starting with Kuga.
2. 2015 was a big year for Ford in Europe – becoming the number one commercial vehicle brand.
3. There are 15 million vehicles equipped with SYNC on the road today – with 43M expected by 2020!
4. Four new partners were announced to SYNC AppLink
5. Ford Pass is confirmed to come to Europe this year. Starting with France, Germany and the UK.
6. And… new Ford Pass partner BP was announced.
7. Did you know: This year Ford will have the largest autonomous vehicle fleet among all automakers.

We had a great day yesterday here in Barcelona, and today we have exciting news as Ken Washington announces our Smart Mobility Game Challenge winner from 10:00 CET, plus plenty of other Ford updates as we bring you life from MWC…
Ken Washington will shortly be joined by Prof. Bjoern Bartholdy and Will Farrelly to announce the winner of the Smart Mobility Game Challenge, a competition produced with Cologne Games Lab, that was launched at Gamescom in August of 2015. Stay tuned…

The judges thought Jaunt was a very progressive concept that offered an innovative user experience that leverages both social communities, and information sharing, to improve the users access to relevant mobility information.
