We’ve teamed up with expert researchers to find out when your worst festive hangover is going to strike… and Dec.14 is the day you’ll need your coffee super-strength.
Based on December social media posts over the last three years, Dec.14 is when most mentions of the word hangover have appeared, aside from, perhaps unsurprisingly, Christmas Day.
The research was commissioned to highlight the dangers of driving the morning after a drink, when sleep deprivation and slowed reaction times can make drivers just as dangerous as a drunk driver, even if under the legal alcohol limit.
This is a message reiterated to young drivers attending our Ford Driving Skills for Life programme, where they get to try our unique “Hangover Suit”. Using a special vest, wrist and ankle weights, cap and goggles, and headphones the suit simulates symptoms of fatigue, dizziness, a throbbing head and difficulty concentrating… all the things you may be feeling on Dec.14.
