Are you race ready?

With drivers racing flat out for a full day, to say the Le Mans 24 Hours is extremely demanding, is something of an understatement.

This year – fifty years after our legendary 1-2-3 finish at the 1966 race – we are returning with the new Ford GT race car in the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Watch Ford Chip Ganassi Racing drivers Harry Tincknell and Stefan Mücke, as they reveal the physical and mental pressures they will endure in the quest for victory and how ergonomics, nutrition and exercise all count when gearing up for this epic test of man and machine.

Four Ford GT race cars will compete at Le Mans this year, each with a team of three drivers. While one driver is in the car, the one he has replaced will quickly grab a bite to eat and then try to grab some sleep. The driver who is up next will be preparing for their stint at the wheel.
