After competing in Ford’s triumphant return to the Le Mans 24 Hours, the #66 Ford GT race car will be hitting the track for a somewhat shorter sprint at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Ford Chip Ganassi Racing team’s #66 Ford GT will be driven by Dirk Müller, who was behind the wheel of the winning #68 car in France last weekend, and Marino Franchitti who was aboard the #67 car for the big race.
Beyond the Ford GT race car, we have an array of head-turning performance vehicles for the famous 1.16-mile Goodwood Hillclimb, and our stand.
Ken Block, development consultant for the Focus RS, will be behind the wheel of the Ford Fiesta ST RX43, his co-star in the latest chapter of the YouTube Gymkhana phenomenon. World Champion drifting star Vaughn Gittin Jr. will be driving his special 735 PS Ford Mustang RTR. And also there will be the ferocious all-American F-150 Raptor pickup driven by Ben Collins, formerly “The Stig” on Top Gear.
The Focus RS will be on our stand alongside the Ford Mustang fastback and convertible; Focus ST; the multi-award-winning Fiesta ST and new 200 PS Fiesta ST200, and our new Ford ST-Line range of Ford Performance-inspired models, including the Fiesta ST-Line, Focus ST-Line, and – making its public debut – the new Mondeo ST-Line.
Among further attractions on the stand will be the Team Sky Skills Trackstand Challenge, a timed standing-stop balance competition.

“Last weekend the Ford GT made history again and won at the Le Mans 24 Hours race. It was an amazing statement about our passion for performance and innovation,” said Jim Farley, chairman and CEO of Ford of Europe. “This weekend, Goodwood will be the perfect venue for us to share our full Ford Performance line-up – from the new Fiesta ST200 all the way up to the Ford GT race car fresh from Le Mans – with so many people who share our passion.”
