Kuga customers get the eye of the tiger

Ford Kuga drivers have an eye for style; Ford research has revealed that their number one reason for buying a Kuga is its looks.

Now Kuga customers have an even more fashionable range of colours to choose from following the introduction of vibrant brand new Tiger Eye Metallic to the Ford palette.

Our 2014 Ford Car Buying Trends study revealed that in recent years the popularity of warmer, earthier tones such as brown and orange have grown faster than any other vehicle colour, so to address the trend Tiger Eye Metallic is available for the first time on any Ford vehicle.

Customer feedback suggested that the Kuga line-up would benefit from a wider choice of colours, so Ruby Red Metallic and Magnetic Metallic are now available, too.

And to enhance the appearance of the car even further an optional body styling kit and a brighter new interior colour called Medium Light Stone also are available.

It’s not all about the looks though, as part of a freshen-up we’ve fine-tuned the both the diesel and petrol engine range to deliver lower CO2 emissions, while a revised 2.0-litre TDCi engine is Kuga’s most powerful diesel to-date.

Ford also is introducing its new 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol engine to Kuga, reducing CO2 emissions by more than a 7 per cent over the outgoing 1.6-litre EcoBoost engine, helped by Auto-Start-Stop that cuts the engine when you’re not moving.

Kuga has been treated to some new technology as well. Ford SYNC with AppLink allows voice-control of apps such as Spotify, Audioteka, and Radioplayer.
